Our Corporate e-Learning Packages Are Expanding
Maintaining knowledge in staff at all levels has never been more important. The Financial Conduct Authority are at pains to highlight their expectations around staff competency. Skills and capability of staff appears as the third chapter in the Regulator’s Guidance for firms on the fair treatment of vulnerable customers, and that staff must act with due skill, care and diligence is Rule 2 of the Individual Conduct Rules – applying to almost all staff within financial services firms.
It is tempting to view training as a one-time-issue. But this approach has several flaws. Learning takes place over time, particularly with issues such as vulnerable customers, fair treatment of customers, and financial crime. New starter training can provide staff with the basics, but regular refresher courses are vital as personal experience and skills develop. Refreshers can help keep staff on track, up to date with new ways of working, and derail any misconceptions before they become an issue.

The pace of change is increasing, and this can lead to innovations and adjustments in the way the industry approaches an issue. Regular refresher training is a must for ensuring that staff – front line, behind the scenes and management – are clear on how to approach and respond to customers’ needs, in line with FCA expectations.
To help firms of all sizes roll out their new-starter and refresher training, we are expanding our corporate packages for e-learning. Our dedicated webpage will allow firms to enrol learners via tiered options, based on the number of learners.
Our new corporate packages will be launched next month. Current customers will not be affected.
For large groups, we can offer a simplified enrolment service and pricing, simply email Robert.bell@rbcompliance.co.uk.
